then we hear this girl screaming like mad outside the building. then a few more girls start screaming. we just all look at our teacher who doesnt notice shit. then the screaming starts in the hallway outside our room. there were like 5 girls screaming outside and lots of 'oh my god's going on. so this one girl in my class gets real pissed off. she stands up, walks out the door to tell them to shut up.
she comes back all smiles on her face. we look all look at her and she goes:
"some 18 year old girl just got engaged!! the rock was HUMUNGO!!"
Some other girl:
"you shouldve been like, 'i dont care if u got engaged! im taking a test! shut up!'"
i wanna get engaged!! i think i failed my test...

this girl/s keep puking IN THE SHOWER!! the first time she/they puked it was all over the whole bathroom (as in in the walls and all that) so we got this letter saying we had to pay 150 coz they ahd to call in someone to clean it up and it was at night so they had to pay for overtime and so the 150 would be credited to our account unless the culprit turned herself in. obviously she never did. then we had this floor meeting to talk about it and our RA was like, if your gonna puke, do it in the toilet. and please clean it up afterwards. so this girl does start cleaning it up. she showers it down and all that so it doesnt smell but the shits still there!!
so finally today someone puts signs.
"feeling sick? not in there-->" (pointing to the showers)
"feeling sick? not in here either" (a sign on the trashcan)
"thats right! come on in and aim" (sign inside stalls of toilets)
hopefully i wont have to be stepping on puke while i take a shower anymore.

oh man...its september...i can tell this months gonna be hectic...
schools gonna start this month...i just found out im gonna be in orientation for my birthday..a tour of downtown seattle...ngek! haha that expression was so pinoy...i miss pinoy people. just seeing random pinoy people here makes me happy. hehe...i realized i dont act chinese at all...i have my two balikbayan boxes ready for my dorm, inside are my islander slippers for taking a shower, a box of the ever famous philippine dried mangoes, golden sweet corn chips and other pinoy stuff...my brothers suitcase is worse! its filled with canned 555 tuna adobo! haha...i have a feeling im gonna be doing the same when i go back to manila..
oh manila...i miss you so much...oh man im craving for twin popsies

so we drive 20 minutes to costco the other day, spent 5 minutes looking for parking, finally found a slot and while we walk to the entrance my mom goes..."ay! i forgot my card!" punyetagnfljkf...
its so hard looking for the perfect pillow. i wanna go back to manila just to get the pillows i use. i finally bought a pillow called "dorm pillow" haha. and i cant find any of those long pillows i use for the legs! haha
im such a maid/carpintero/slave here! i spend hours doing laundry, washing dishes, taking orders from my mom, sweeping...today i had to cement tiles. parang icare and its so damn cold outside and my back hurts. we need more canadian $ and we cant have any til my dad gets here so i think im secretly being underfed..

so i finally left the philippines...everyone was saying bye to me but i finally broke down when my granma hugged me. i ddnt wanna cry in front of everyone so i tried holding it back but that only made it worse! i started bawling in the car and my mom looked at me and i was like i dddonnt wanna go yet!!! so then she came over and started to comfort me but that only made it worse! i start to cry more when ppl comfort me. i was sobbing like hell and my brother in the front was laughing at me. i knew he was reaching for the camera dammit. so then i tried to stop crying by looking out at the window and thinking of other things but then all i thought of was "thats the last time im gonna see that..."
so i reach the airport and im still crying. people there start staring at me coz my eyes are bloodshot and all puffy. my mom texted my dad telling him i cried so he called me up and he was like dont worry im gonna be there in a week! like...um...hello?? im not crying coz ur not here im crying coz im gonna miss everything about the philippines!!
things got better when we got upgraded to first class and they offered me champange..haha

i just got back from hong kong. i havent been there in ages! its so pretty. i love the food and the shops! clothes are so expensive there now! either that or im just really cheap so i didnt buy that much. i went to their tiangge and a fake fendi cap(just curious, i wasnt gonna buy) cost HK$115 which is like 800 pesos (the lady was selling it to me for HK$130) i bargained for like 10 minutes and then felt bad coz i knew i wasnt even gonna buy it. arent fendi hats like 500 pesos here? then my mom told me to buy thermals for the winter and a plain white tee cost 480 pesos! and it wasnt even that nice nor did it have a fake tag on it...=S
i wanted to go to disneyland but they dont open til sept 12 and tickets are already sold out! the whole of hong kong is like disney crazy! girdanos clothes were all disney. they mickey and all the disney characters on all of their items. it was pretty crazy. then the next morning my dad tells me he read in the newspaper that there were wild dogs in the yet to open disneyland. the dogs were coming down from the mountains searching for food. yikes thats pretty scary..
i gained like 5 pounds there. i kept eating the whole time. their duck was so good! we went to this buffet place just like circles in makati shang. they had that chocolate fountain as well but bigger! and they had soft serve ice cream! it was so much better there coz u dont have to ask the guy behind the counter to get it for u. its so embarassing when the guy remebers u were just asking him for vanilla ice cream 5 minutes ago. oh and aside from the soft serve they had haagen daz too. thats where i got most of my moneys worth. haha.
i love how the people there talk to me in cantonese coz they think im one of them. haha. its just a shame i cant
my plane was delayed for two hours and thirty minutes!!! coz of a storm...that came FROM THE PHILIPPINES!! so first they announced that the plane would be delayed for 30 minutes coz we were waiting for the storm to pass. so ok fine thirty minutes aint such a big deal. then we started to board and the pilot says that were waiting for other planes to take off and that were number 28. ahhk. whats a girl to do with all that time on a plane...they couldve at least let us go back to the airport and tell us to come back on an hour or so. the hk airport is real nice! so many shops. =) so i was sitting on the motionless plane for a couple of minutes which eventually turned into two hours!! so im like sitting there listening to donita rose on the flight radio hithcart haha. she was talking about lindsay lohans freckles..? then i switched to the 'sounds of saigon' station. their music was pretty trippy...haha
